New Delhi: Putting a question mark on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech, President Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, Maulana Arshad Madani in the presence of King of Jordan Abdullah II, said good action, not good speech is needed to improve the situation of the country. He was speaking at the conference organised by India Islamic Cultural Centre at Vigyan Bhawan.
Maulana also issued a press note from Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind head office. He said violence in the name of religion is unacceptable. He said religion teaches humanity, integrity, love and tolerance. Hence those who use religion to spread hate and violence are not the true followers of their religion. They should be condemned and opposed from all fronts.
Answering a question he said rulers of the countries give appealing speeches but their actions do not match their rhetoric.
