A hospital with the name Shanti hospital, was being run for the past several years, near Shamsabad bus stand. The hospital was established on the basis of the certificate of Dr. Srinivas MBBS and MD. Even after Dr. Srinivas left Shamsabad, his worker Ratnam was running the hospital on Dr. Srinivas’ name.
The locals made a complaint with the District Medical Health Officer, on which DHMO sent a doctors’ team for inspection. On finding the truth the doctors’ team shut the hospital and lodged a complaint at Shamsabad RGI police.
Yet another hospital of Shamsabad, Sairam hospital, has been closed due to lack of para-medical staff.
