Acting helps Emma Stone cope with anxiety

Oscar winner Emma Stone has revealed that she has been dealing with anxiety since her childhood. The actor, in an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, said she had been in therapy for anxiety while she was just seven.”I was a very, very anxious child and I had a lot of panic attacks. I benefited in a big way from therapy – I started it at seven. Acting and improvisation helped me so much,” she said.

Stone said while growing up she never believed that she would be able to leave Arizona but she moved to Hollywood for a career in acting when she was 15. Stone won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in “La La Land”.
