Jamia Nizamiah in collaboration with Siasat conducted Islamic Classes from 24th April to 31st May. His examination was conducted on 1st June. The certificates distribution function was held on 3rd June in Jamia Nizamia.
Addressing the function, Maulana Khaleel Ahmed told that this is the tenth year since these classes were started with the cooperation of Siasat Urdu Daily. There were 119 cetnres in Hyderabad and Secuderabad and 90 centres in districts. 14987 students were benefited by these classes. 12796 students wrote the examination and 10897 passed the test. The successful candidates were given certificates yesterday.
He told that there is a dire need of providing Islamic education these days. Everyone is striving to provide modern education to his children and avoiding Islamic education which is undesirable. One should get Islamic education alogwith modern education. Maulana Khaleel Ahmed told that by modern education, man progresses but only Islamic education teaches him how to lead a good life.
He expressed the delight that blessed are those parents who arrange Islamic education to their children. He said that despite warm weather and heat, the teachers imparted Islamic education by going to far off places. There were some lapses at some centers. God willing, these will be rectified next year.
Mr. Amer Ali Khan, news editor, Siasat told that the teachers of Islamic education are the ambassadors of Islam. They are engaged in the propagation of Islam and they are cooperating with Jamia Nizamia and Siasat in their efforts.
This cooperation has been in vogue for the past ten years.
