Achhennaidu bit by Balayya film bug, chants film dialogues against Jagan

Probably smitten by cinema bug, some ministers and leaders, who are very much fond of films of noted heroes of Tollywood, could not stop themselves from uttering some popular dialogues even in the Assembly sessions.

While Telangana Assembly witnessed giving undue publicity to “Bahubali” and “Kattappa” involving all the political parties, Andhra Pradesh Assembly had to see a similar scene uttering dialogue in Gauthamiputra Shatakarni of Hindupur MLA and Actor Balakrishna.  AP Labour Minister K Achchennaidu on Friday uttered one such dialogue and yelled at the Leader of the Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to choose whether he would tender apology to join the proceedings or take punishment. Sharanama (apologize) and Maranama (punishment), in this context.

The minister literally launched a broadside and fumed at the Leader of Opposition for his remarks against Agriculture Minister Pattipati Pulla Rao. During a debate on AgriGold row in the budget session in the Assembly, the minister threw a challenge to Jagan to accept the challenge of Pulla Rao. Jagan should prove the allegations and stop making false and wrong allegations and put a full stop to such bad comments, he suggested. Achchen’s dialogue may have irked the YCP leader though it might have caused raptures in the ruling party.

It may be said here that in Telangana Assembly Telugu Desam leaders compared Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to Kattappa, a key character in Bahubali. Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy too joined the bandwagon to say that Bahubali will emerge out of their Congress party to take on the might of Kattappa. This also prompted former minister DK Aruna, BJP leaders and that of Left parties to make similar comments against the Chief Minister. (NSS)
