Accidents: Five killed in Separate road accidents

In separate cases, five persons were killed in road accidents at different places in the city and its outskirts.

In Hayathnagar police limits, a 34-year-old man died on the spot when the bike he was riding was hit by a speeding car. The accident occurred near Hayathnagar Petrol Pump on Monday night. The deceased was later identified as G Suresh, a resident of Raghavendra Nagar and employee of a private firm, according to Sub-Inspector G Chandrashekar.

In another case, Shaik Akbar Hussain, succumbed to the injuries which he sustained on January 8 when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by an unidentified car on Road No 13 of Banjara Hills. He was admitted to the NIMS at Panjagutta where he died on Monday night. According to Banajra Hills police, Hussain was a salesman in ITC and resident of New Mallepally.

In a different case, Sabavath Tularam, 50, and his wife sustained grievous injuries when the bike they were riding on was hit by a RTC near Royal Function Hall in Narsingi police limits on Monday night. They were immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where Tularam died a few hours after admission. He was a charge man in ODF and used to reside in Quarters at Edulamailaram near Sangareddy.

In a similar case, a 26-year-old man died on the spot when the moped he was riding was hit by a RTC bus on Road No 6 in Amberpet police limits on Monday night. The deceased has been identified as Md Muzammil Ahmed, a shop worker and resident of Gokul Nagar near Ramanthapur.

In a separate case, M Balakishan, 42, a milk vendor, succumbed to the injuries which he suffered when the cycle on which he was carrying milk was hit by a motorcycle near Afsara Bar in LB Nagar police limits on January 16. He was admitted to a private hospital where he died on Tuesday. He was a resident of Weaker Sections Colony in Mansoorabad. (INN)
