An assistant executive engineer of panchayat raj department in Nalgonda district was trapped by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials while accepting a bribe.
A Vidyadhar, Assistant executive engineer of panchayatraj department, Bommalaramaram mandal was caught red-handed near Thummalabavi culvert while accepting Rs 15,000 bribe from the complainant for processing and forwarding the civil work bills of the complainant worth about Rs two lakh. The complainant is a civil contractor, ACB sources said.
The accused is being arrested and being produced before the ACB court here.(NSS)
