The Anti-Corruption Bureau has served a notice on Bellari (Rural) MLA Sriramulu to appear before it within three days in connection with the bail deal of Gali Janardana Reddy, former minister of that State.
As Sriramulu, a close follower of Janardana Reddy, was not available at his house, the ACB authorities handed over the notice to his family members.
Sriramulu visited Hyderabad several times in the past and met his mentor Janardana Reddy in the Chanchalguda jail.
It may be mentioned here that two MLAs of Karnataka — Suresh and Janardana Reddy’s brother Somasekhara Reddy — were already arrested by the ACB. As the two were called to Hyderabad for questioning and arrested, it is being said that Sriramulu also might be arrested if he came over here.
