Three policemen from Surat have been arrested here while accepting a bribe of Rs 6000, the police said here today. Babubhai Vasa, Kishan Gamit and Anesh Chaudhary was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here near Mochi Bazar while accepting the bribe from Amit Dave, who filed a complaint with the ACB in Rajkot. The trio had demanded money to allow Rajkot resident Mahendrasinh Zala to meet his relatives, when he was brought here for a court hearing, after his arrest around two months ago, the police said. His friend Amit Dave then lodged a complaint with the ACB against the three policemen. When the policemen were receiving the bribe, they were caught red-handed and arrested by Rajkot ACB sleuths, the police said. PTI
