The Anti corruption bureau has unearthed assets worth over 1.62 Crores belonging to the Mandal Engineering Officer here on Wednesday.
According to the ACB, a case of Disproportionate Assets has been registered against a M.V.Satyanarayana, Mandal Engineering Officer, O/o Mandal Parishad Development Officer, Palakollu (M), West Godavari District , and searches were conducted on Tuesday simultaneously at the residential buildings owned by him, his relatives and close associates in Rajahmundry of East Godavari District.
During searches, the ACB unearthed movable and immovable properties worth about Rs. 1.62 Crores as per documentary value The market Value is approximately about Rs. 5 Crores.
The Accused Officer M V Satyanarayana were arrested and sent to Judicial remand. The case is under investigation. (INN)
