Hyderabad: The students’ wing of BJP, ABVP has given a call for OU bandh on Wednesday, 06th December against lathi charge by the police on the students who were protesting after an OU student committed suicide two days back.
It may be mentioned that OU and JNTU – H have cancelled all the examinations which was scheduled to be held on 5th and 6th December in view of the bandh.
ABVP demanded the Govt. of TS to recruit candidates against one lakh vacancies.
State Secretary of ABVP, L. Ayappa has appealed to all the educational institutions under the jurisdiction of Osmania University to cooperate and to make bandh a success.
It may be noted that Murli, a student of M.Sc. first year had committed suicide by hanging himself in the hostel earlier.
