ABVP chalks out protests for filling of vacant posts

Telangana State wing of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthy Parishad (ABVP) has criticized the State government for its apathy towards youth and failure to fill vacant posts in various State government departments.

 

Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Telangana ABVP secretary L. Ayyappa said the State Government has miserably failed to give notifications for filling vacant posts. Even 33 months after assuming power, the State government failed to issue employment notifications for filling vacant posts with youth.

Stating that some 16,000 teacher posts in 130 Degree colleges, 4,400 junior College Lecturer posts are vacant, Ayyappa said they have chalked out agitation program from March 4 to 10 exert pressure on the State government to issue employment notifications. As  part of the program, they would submit memorandums to the MLAs and floor leaders on March 4, conduct seminars in the Universities on March 6 and 7 and launch protests like rallies and rasta rokos on March 10 all over the State.
