ABVP activists allegedly DU student leader Kawalpreet Kaur

New Delhi: Kawalpreet Kaur, President of All India Students Association (AISA) alleged that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists of Satyawati College harassed and verbally abused her.

On Wednesday, in the evening, when she visited Satyawati College to meet AISA students, 20 students called her anti-national and stopped her physically.

According to the news published by South Live, after the incident, Ms. Kaur has filed a complaint at Bharat Nagar Police Station against ABVP Convenor of Satyawati College, Vikram Singh Tomar, Dharamprakash, Adw-ait Sharma, Mantu Sharma and other activists. Later, she shared a copy of FIR on her facebook account.

Speaking on the incident, she said that ABVP activists raised questions about her character, nationality and called her slut. She also said that her photographs and video recording were done during the incident. Every student of Delhi University is free to move anywhere and such harassment is an attempt to terrify students, she added.
