Absence of TRS MPs in Lok Sabha triggers suspicion

Hyderabad: It is a matter of serious concern that CM of Telangana State, Mr. KCR who declared the formation of non-BJP, non-Congress Federal Front is going to strengthen the hands of Mr. Modi by asking TRS MPs to keep quiet in the Parliament. If the attitude of TRS MPs in the Parliament is reviewed, it reveals that the sympathies of Mr. KCR are with BJP.

In the Parliament, many opposition leaders raised their voice against the incidents which took place in Kolkata yesterday but all were searching for TRS members who chose to remain absent. It was a part of party’s strategy. TRS was not prepared to support any party and hence it chose to keep itself away from the conflict.

The interesting thing is that Mr. KCR himself had called on Ms. Mamata Banerjee in order to seek her support for the proposed Federal Front but it seems Ms. Banerjee did not show any interest.

Under the pretext of Assembly Session, Mr. KCR did not participate in the opposition rally held in Kolkata on 19th January. He also did not send any of his representatives for this rally.

Party sources indicated that he did not want to share the stage with Congress and TDP leaders. All these events indicate that the sympathies of TRS are with BJP.

Opposition parties are forced to think whether Federal Front is being constituted to benefit Mr. Modi so that secular votes get divided.

It may be mentioned that on the issue of Triple Talaq, TRS MPs evaded opposing the Govt. After recording formal dissent, TRS MPs walked out of Parliament and hence did not participate in voting.
