Abid Rasool Khan visits Aneesul Ghuraba

Chairman of A.P. State Minorities Commission, Mr. Abid Rasool Khan along with Sardar Surjit Singh, Member of the Commission visited Aneesul Ghuraba orphanage, Nampally yesterday. Mr. Ahmed Nadeem , Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare and Mr. Ghaffar, CEO of Wakf Board were also present on this occasion.

The officials told him that orphan children in the age group of 6-10 years are admitted in this orphanage. They also go to English medium schools by Bus. This institution has been transferred to the Dept. of Hindu Endowment, shifting it from A.P. State Wakf Board. It is located in a very small area of 500 sq. yards. The building is very old. The ground floor of this building is occupied by tenants who pay a very petty amount as rent. There are other properties of this institution which are under the possession of various persons. Mr. Khan instructed the officials to prepare a comprehensive report about this institution within three days and submit to the commission. A.P. State Minorities Commission has decided to present its recommendations about this orphanage to the Govt. before 31st August. The children of this orphanage told about the punishments given to them to Mr. Khan. The Chairman instructed Inspector of Police, Nampally and Mr. Nadeem Ahmed to register a criminal case against Mr. Zaker and Mr. Mahmood and submit a report to him. On this occasion it was known that the doctor is absent.
