Hyderabad, January 14: Abid Ali Khan Education Trust, Siasat daily has set up examination centers in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and other districts to promote Urdu education. A book has been compiled with this purpose called Urdu Dani in which Urdu alphabets have been written in Telugu, English, Hindi and Urdu, so that those who don’t know Urdu could be able to read and write basic Urdu.
The trust was founded in June 1994. Exams are conducted twice a year under the aegis of the trust. The 33rd exam will be conducted this time on January 30 2011.
The exam is free and age no bar. Books will also be provided free of cost. The main objective of the trust is to create a new Urdu knowing generation. Certificates will be issued to the successful candidates.
