Mr. Abhishek Mohanthy, IPS probationer at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel National Police Academy has been selected as Parade Commander. He will lead the passing out parade on 5th November. President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee will take salute of the cadets. Mr. Mohanthy was selected for IPS in 2012 and he is posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (Grey Hounds). Mr. Mohanthy is the son of former DGP of A.P. Mr. A.K. Mohanthy. Last year, Abhishek Mohanthy had performed well on the occasion of passing out parade of IPS probationers due to which this year Govt. selected him to lead the passing out parade.
