Ellenabad, January 23: INLD candidate and Om Prakash Chautala’s younger son Abhay Singh Chautala defeated his nearest rival Indian National Congress candidate Bharat Singh Beniwal in the high-profile Ellenabad by-election.
Chautala declared victorious by 6227 margin of votes.
It is worth mentioning here that 80 percent people turned out to cast their franchise in the Ellenabad bypolls.
The election was believed to be prestigious one for Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Om Prakash Chautala.
