Abdur Rauf Bandhan’s autobiography ‘Taqdeer’ released

New Delhi: World Urdu Association released the autobiography of former vice president of Mauritius Abdul Rauf Bandhan at India International Centre (IIC). After French and English, the autobiography ‘Taqdeer’ has been translated in the Urdu language. Inayat Husain and his wife Rehana translated the book, while Prof Khaja Ikramuddin compiled it.

Abdur Rauf Bandhan is a multi-facet personality. He rendered remarkable services as a bureaucrat, diplomat, minister and Vice President. He devoted his life for the services of entire humanity and played a key role in the promotion of Urdu language and literature in Mauritius.

Abdul Rauf Bandhan, his wife Asma Bandhan, Inayat Hussain, Rehana attended the book release ceremony. Mr Bandhan expressed his views in a very beautiful and emotional way in the Urdu language. He thanked the chairman of World Urdu Association and ambassador of Urdu professor Haji Ikramuddin and others.

Former Ambassador to India for Mauritius Anup Kumar was also present on the occasion.
