Jeddah, July 24Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Naif before the king’s departure for Morocco from the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on Thursday.
JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah left for Morocco Thursday. King Abdullah will first visit Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, who has been convalescing in the Moroccan city of Agadir after a successful treatment in the United States since April, a Royal Court statement said. The king will have a short vacation after visiting the crown prince.
Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Naif will preside over the meetings of the Council of Ministers and supervise the ministries and other departments in the king’s absence.
King Abdullah was seen off at the Jeddah airport by Prince Naif, Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, other princes, senior officials and citizens.
King Abdullah was received at the Agadir airport by Crown Prince Sultan. The king also attended a luncheon hosted in his honor by the crown prince.
