Abdul Hafeez who lost both legs and a hand opens welding shop

Siasat Daily had published a heartrending report on February 2, 2014 about a young man _ Mohammed Abdul Hafeez _ who lost both the legs and a hand due to electric shock, just a day before his marriage was to take place. Siasat editor Mr. Zahed Ali Khan was the first person to extend a helping hand, who handed over Rs. 50000 as the primary fund. Later with the financial help by Siasat readers Mohammed Hafeez could not only walk on his own but now he has started earning too. A total of Rs. 4.5 lakh was deposited in the account of Mohammed Hafeez by Siasat readers. After the publication of report Help Hand Foundation Hyderabad also took the responsibility of fixing two prosthetic legs to the youth. A Hyderabadi NRI Ahmed Khan also gave a generous donation.

Previous day Mohammed Hafeez opened a welding shop at Warangal High Way with the expenses of nearly one lakh where two other boys also work under him. He has named his shop New Engineering Works which was inaugurated on Friday. On the occasion Mohammed Abdul Hafeez has expressed gratitude towards all those who have some way or other helped him in standing upon his own feet and start employment.
