Guwahati: Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit met Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on the sidelines of the 12th South Asian Games here and invited him to visit Islamabad.
Basit met Gogoi in his office where they discussed issues of mutual interest.
The High Commissioner also thanked Gogoi for hosting the Games and also invited him to visit Pakistan.
Gogoi thanked Basit for the invitation and said that he would very much like to visit Pakistan as soon as possible.
Basit was present during the opening ceremony of the 12th South Asian Games in Guwahati. (ANI)
