New Delhi, May 17: ABB shares opened 19.66 per cent higher on Monday, as promoter ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd sought to buy up to 22.9 per cent stake in the firm at Rs 900 a share, or at 34 per cent premium to Firday’s closing price.
At 09.04 a.m, shares in the firm were up 23 per cent at Rs 828.8 in a Mumbai market that was down 1.81 per cent.
