K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday has directed the officials to ensure that all eligible persons get pension. The State govt has started the Aasara scheme in which many eligible persons have not get pension.
KCR asked the officials to weed out the ineligible persons for the scheme, and make sure that all needy get benefited.
Government sources claim that around 10-15 percent among the Aasara pension receivers might not be eligible but they may have been included as beneficiaries due to local political support.
The state government under the Aasara scheme pays a monthly pension of Rs 1,000 to widow, aged, disabled, toddy tappers and weavers.
