New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) leader Shazia Ilmi on Sunday said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will have a tough time raising funds as it had lost its credibility among people.
She said that people, who had earlier given funds, are not happy with the way the AAP spent money for its own publicity.
“The AAP has lost its credibility. There is no truthfulness in their work and policies anymore. People have lost faith in them. Now, how will they ask for more money? When people gave them money, they spent it needlessly. People have not liked the way they have spent money in their own praise,” Ilmi told ANI.
According to reports, the AAP is facing a shortage of funds and is likely to launch a campaign to raise funds to the near future. The party has also asked its NRI supporters to make donations to support its day-to-day activities.
AAP leader Kumar Vishwas will reportedly lead the fund raising campaign. (ANI)
