CHANDIGARH: AAP proposes to end liquor mafia in the Ludhiana state of Punjab. In the run -up to the 2017 state assembly elections, the party has already released manifestos targeted at farmers and youth. It has also promised farm loan waiver for agriculturists in Punjab.

The document released by Kejriwal on Sunday promises to make the three sectors free of corruption by eliminating ‘inspector raj’ and ‘raid raj’.

Self-certification regime for all no objection certificates and consents in businesses and tax regime would be simplified and made transparent, it promised and also pledged significant reduction in VAT and other taxes “on Delhi pattern”.

“It is not our poll manifesto, but an agreement of AAP with people of Punjab. The party is committed to fulfill all promises made to the people in this document,” said Kejriwal.
