New Delhi: Setting an example for others, AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan has admitted his kids to a Delhi government school. He said this will help remove the bias in people’s minds against these institutions. Mr Khan got his two children admitted at Rajkiya Uchh Madhyamik Vidyalaya, a government school on Thursday.
His son Anas Khan has been admitted in class 9 while his daughter Tahoora was admitted in class 6 at Joga Bai government school. Previously his children were studying in the Hamdard Public School.
Saying that government schools have undergone a lot of changes, with infrastructure improved manifold and overall quality improved, Mr Khan believed that his children will have a good education at the government school. The move was also aimed at “inspiring people to shed their bias against the Delhi government schools”, he said. Khan said if we don’t admit our children in government schools why would others do?
https://t.co/NkuXrWlHLs pic.twitter.com/w0aoUAXn0k
