Dear friend, After the stunning results of Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi elections our hope for this country has revived. People have voted for what the AAP stands for – corruption free governance, radical decentralization, and a people-oriented and people- driven development. It has energised a lot of people in various sectors. They are contacting us in Andhra Pradesh to join and work for the party. AAP supporters in AP are expecting us to actively intervene in the electoral process. With elections just five months away it is not going to be an easy task. On the other hand if we lose this opportunity to intervene in the electoral process we will have to wait for another five years between corrupt politicians and destructive development.
In this context there are many questions:
How do we assess the AAP process and its success in Delhi? How do we see the AAP in the present context of AP politics? Should the AAP contest elections in AP? Do we have the strength to contest elections? Can we create a wave as in Delhi? If yes, how? Who will drive the process? If not, how do we make a strong presence in the current political scenario?
To discuss these questions we cordially invite you to a meeting on 28th December 2013 at 2.30 PM at Sundarayya Vignana kendram, Bagh Lingampally, Hyderabad.
As you know, we have a high regard for you as a person engaged in public affairs and issues affecting ordinary people. Your inputs would be very valuable for the AAP process . Kindly treat this as a personal letter/ invitation. I look forward to your favourable reply. You are also most welcome to bring anyone who may be interested. In case you are not able to attend, kindly depute some one to attend on your behalf. You can also write to us your views in case you may not be able to attend the meeting.
