New Delhi, Sept.12 : Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay on Saturday lashed out at the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP Government following the death of a dengue patient in the national capital and alleged that the issue was handled in an irresponsible manner.
“It is the responsibility of the Delhi Government that all dengue patients should get seats in the hospitals. Sending a notice alone does not finish their responsibility,” said Upadhyay.
The Delhi Government has issued notices to two private hospitals after the parents of a seven-year-old boy, who died of dengue on Tuesday, committed suicide as they failed to get him admitted to a hospital in time.
The couple’s son died of suspected dengue on September 8 after allegedly being denied admission at two prominent private hospitals on the previous day. (ANI)
