Bengaluru: Following Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Kapil Mishra’s startling claims against Arvind Kejriwal, the Centre on Saturday asserted that the AAP convener should face the truth because rejecting the reality will take them away from people further.
Talking to media, Union Minister of Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar said, “What is happening in AAP Government has actually exposed them of what they promised and what they are delivering. People are already upset from them and that’s what on display.”
Javadekar asserted that India is voting with aspiration for prosperity.
“Opposition parties have lost the plot, they are disconnected now. They don’t to accept the reality and rejecting the reality will take them away from people further. They will get isolated,” he added.
The Union Minister also informed that cabinet has already sanctioned money for VVPAT machines.
Sacked Delhi minister Kapil Mishra, whose indefinite hunger strike entered its fourth day today, asserted that he will not stop his agitation until all his questions are answered by Kejriwal.
Earlier, Mishra submitted documents related to the tanker scam to the ACB, while saying that he also apprised the agency about the misuse of the money by the Delhi government.
Mishra is demanding that AAP leaders Sanjay Singh, Ashish Khetan, Satyendar Jain, Raghav Chadha and Durgesh Pathak disclose details and source of their funding for their foreign trips and questioned as to why these leaders have not put this information in the public domain as yet.
Earlier, in a letter, Kapil told Kejriwal, “Someone told me if these details are revealed, the public won’t let you stay in power for another moment. What is the secret behind these trips?” (ANI)
