Aamir Khan wanted to make film on 100 years of Indian cinema

As Indian cinema completes 100 years, actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan has revealed that he was keen on making a film to mark the centenary.

To celebrate the landmark of Indian cinema, four top Bollywood directors – Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap – have directed ‘Bombay Talkies’, an anthology of four short stories.

“I was looking to make a film on 100 years of cinema…I wanted to do something but couldn’t do it.
