Mulayam Singh’s daughter-in-law joins “Intolerance” row, says Aamir Khan failed to instill patriotism in his wife

Lucknow: Aparna, daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party Chief, Mulayam Singh Yadav slammed Aamir Khan for his remark on “Intolerance”. She said that Aamir Khan despite playing the role of patriots on screen failed to instill patriotism in his wife.

Aparna, wife of Prateek, son of Mulayam Singh Yadav tweeted that the actor has let down the people. “Yeh satyapit ho gaya hai ki Aamir Khan sirf abhineta hai, jo ki Rang Dey Basanti aur Mangal Pandey jaise deshbhakton key kirdar nibhane key bawjood apni patni ko deshprem na samjha paye. Hamari galti hai ki aapse itni badi apeksha kari. Jai Hind Jai Bharat (It has been proved that Aamir Khan is just an actor who played the roles of patriots in his films Rang De Basanti and Mangal Pandey but failed to instill patriotic values in his wife. It is our mistake that we had such high expectations from you),” Aparna said in her facebook post.
Her office also confirmed that Aparna had posted it on facebook but she refused to talk to media.
