New Delhi: The 2006 romantic crime drama, ‘Fanaa,’ starring Aamir Khan and Kajol in the lead roles, has completed its ten years today and its director Kunal Kohli is celebrating it on Twitter.
The filmmaker recalled the making of the film in a series of posts, tweeting “When #adichopra n me asked @aamir_khan,which 3 girls do u think r best suited to play #Zooni in #Fanaa. His reply: Kajol,Kajol & Kajol.”
He continued, “#fanaa the snow sequences were shot in Poland in temp ranging from as cold to -27 to the warmest being -10 all this for a month.”
“#fanaa @dop007 was the reason for the wonderful visuals & us finishing a 30 schedule in delhi in 24 days!” reads his tweet.
Kunal further said that because of the extreme cold weather conditions in Poland, the movie’s hit number ‘Mere Haath Mein’ had to be re-shot again.
Adding on to this, the director said, “#10YearsOfFanaa @aamir_khan heard only 2 narrations of #fanaa 1 in English & 1 in Hindi/Urdu to say ‘yes’ he’s on for #Fanaa.”
The film, which marked the comeback of the 41-year-old actress, who was last seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ in 2001, was a critical and commercially successful at the Box Office. (ANI)
