Aamir Khan has confidently backed a script and produced a film – Delhi Belly, that stars his nephew Imran Khan. Now, it’s well known that Imran insisted that he be auditioned for the role and the youngster even underwent a look test. Aamir is naturally impressed by all this.
Anyway, there are talks that Aamir’s ‘Delhi Belly’ is ‘somewhat like’ Guy Ritchie’s 1998 film ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’. However, Aamir says that his film ‘Delhi Belly’ is absolutely original, and can’t be compared whatsoever to ‘Lock, Stock…’
On the other hand, when Imran Khan interacted with the press, he was quick to confirm, “Yes, one could say, it has a similar feel to it. But that’s as far as one could get with the connection.”
Maamujaan and bhatija need to take ‘stock’ of things here, eh?
