In the wake of bifurcation the State Government today allocated 9893 employees to Telangana State on temporary basis. Finance Principal Secretary PV Ramesh told media that they have to work in T Government to be functional form June 2. Their salaries will be cut if they failed to report in time. Those allotted for time being include 8,501 heads of departments, 1,164 Secretariat employees and 128 in legislature. Related orders to serve will be issued on June 1 if not on May 31 night, according to information. Based on Center’s guidelines on distribution of officials and staff, the Government allotted them to T State. A grievance cell to be headed by two Chief Secretaries will look into the problems of the employees who have to work in T State from June 2 ie Monday onwards. Ramesh said that promotions of 47,000 employees will be taken up only permanent allocation is done. Of course, it needs some more time, he maintained.
