A P Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has opined that TDP did not benefit anything with the BJP alliance. The Chief Minister has set up a strategy committee to keep constant eye on current political situation arising out of mounted pressure on the Centre by the TDP.
The committee comprising Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Kala Venkat Rao, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Achanna Naidu, Kalva Srinivasulu, council chief whip Vayyavula Keshav, media advisor Parkala Prabhakar. Naidu also analysed voting pattern of the party after it had alliance before 2014 elections. Whether party got any additional voting percentage when party has decided go with BJP,sources said adding that party’s vote per centage did not change. Even Andhra Pradesh did not get any benefit with the centre.
Chandrababu Naidu asked his ministers how is the people’s response after resignation of two ministers from Modi government. It was stated by senior colleagues and ministers informed the chief minister that 98 per cent people are supporting the party decision and they are appreciating the initiatives taken by the TDP. In the meeting , TDP leaders also discussed about the strategy to be adopted to get more funds from the centre, sources said.(NSS)
