Hyderabad, January 03 (INN): Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, as a New year gift to the Educational sector, on Monday sanctioned creation of 9569 School Assistants’ posts including Telugu, Hindi and other subjects under the Rajiv Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan.
This will cost the exchequer Rs 241 crore additional budget per annum. This is the first time in the State that School Assistants posts are created and sanctioned on such a massive scale, according to an official release here.
In the allotment Srikakulam gets 545 posts, Vizianagaram – 371, Visakhapatnam – 419, East Godavari – 960, West Godavari – 709, Krishna – 207, Guntur – 422, Prakasam – 89, Nellore – 62, Chittoor – 528, Kadapa – 97, Anantapur – 399, Kurnool – 625, Mahaboobnagar – 506, Rangareddy – 633, Hyderabad – 4, Medak – 675, Nizamabad – 413, Adilabad – 258, Karimnagar – 605, Warangal – 341, Khammam – 167 and Nalgonda – 534, the release said.
The Chief Minister has sanctioned filling up of 11,139 vacancies of teacher posts in various categories of all media under Government and Zilla Parishad managements in the State which will cost the ex-chequer Rs. 227 crore annually, the release added. (INN)
