Over 95% students appear for inter exams

Hyderabad: As many as 95.25% of candidates appeared for the Maths Paper-II B, Zoology Paper-II and History Paper-II of the Intermediate Public Examinations held across Telangana State on Friday.

Of 320,840 registered candidates, as many as 305,647 appeared while 15,193 abstained from the examinations. A total of 40 candidates have been booked for malpractice.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has been sent 40 Observers to Suryapet, Nemmikal and Athmakur examination centres of Nalgonda District. The examinations were conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, according to Board Secretary Dr. A. Ashok. (INN)
