On Tuesday, two minor girls from Jagathgirigutta Jeedimetla, lodged a complaint with the local police station against their father for sexually assaulting them. The accused is a close supporter of a local corporator from the ruling party threatened the victims of after effects if they spill the beans of his abuse.
The victims, who are age of 15 and 13 years old, were a student of a private school in Jeedimetla. The accused, Amarnath, 90year-old, a realtor, had two marriages. The victims are his daughters from the second wife. His first wife stays nearby.
As per the complaint lodged by the victims, Amarnath had sexually assaulted them more than once in the past months. He would target them only when their mother had stepped out of the house. According to Jeedimetla Inspector M. Sudarshan, in the beginning the victims thought their fathers was only expressing his love towards them and trusted him.
However, when the abuse advanced, they felt embarrassing and comprehended what their father was up to. Subsequently they refused to comply.
