In a disgraceful incident, a nine-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by a function hall caretaker at Langar House police station limits on Thursday.
According to police Md Hafeez, a resident of Barkas, Chandrayangutta, allegedly sodomised the victim on the pretext of some work at KK Function Hall in Langar House area. He lured the victim offering chocolates while he was playing in front of his house and took him to the function hall toilet and committed the crime,” sub-inspector Md Jahed said.
The boy complained to his father about the incident after which father approached the police. Police arrested the accused from his residence following the complaint by the victim’s parents. Hafeez later confessed to the crime, said police.
