Ghaziabad, September 02: A nine-year-old boy was mercilessly murdered, apparently in the name of god, in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
Hrithik, a resident of Muradnagar area, was sacrificed by a tantrik (one who practises black magic). Hrithik had gone to buy a chocolate on Sunday evening, but he never returned.
The panic stricken family of Hrithik registered a complaint with the police on Monday. Their worst fears were confirmed on Tuesday when Hrithik’s uncle discovered his body in the nearby fields.
Even more shocking was the condition in which the body was found, throat slit, vermilion smeared on forehead and injury marks all over the body.
The boy’s father, Jai Kumar, said, “I think some black magic was performed on him.”
Hrithik’s slippers and a rope were found near his body. Surprisingly, there was no blood anywhere. An indication that he was sacrificed elsewhere before the body was dumped in the fields.
The family suspected their domestic help to be behind the heinous act. They alleged that the maid conspired with her husband, a follower of black magic, and abducted and later killed their child.
The couple, along with their accomplices, also performed bizarre rituals on him. Even the police suspected the sacrifice theory.
Rural SP Kamal Kishore Asthana said, “The family has named three. We have detained them and black magic seems to be involved.”
Hrithik’s body was sent for post mortem examination. The investigations were on and the police detained four people, including three women.
