On Sunday, about 9 tolas of gold belonging to a 30-year-old housewife were stolen from her handbag.
P Swapna resident of RK Puram in Kothapet, boarded a bus at Alkapuri to reach JBS on her way to Kamareddy to attend a family function. When she reached at JBS, Swapna checked her handbag and realized that the small pouch in which she put her gold jewellery was not there.
Based on the complaint, a theft case was registered by North Zone police under section 380 of the IPC .
