New Delhi, February 28:A Class VIII studet allegedly committed suicide at his east Delhi residence today apparently upset over being scolded for not concentrating on studies.
Gulshan Thakur (13) was found hanging in his residence in New Ashok Nagar this afternoon. He was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
His mother Meera Thakur told police that she scolded him for not concentrating on studies.
No suicide note was recovered.
Gulshan was studying in a government school.
