Government has released 87.5 Cr for implementation of Minority Residential School scheme. The amount has been released to Telangana State Minorities Residential Schools Society. Director Minority Welfare has been given the responsibility to implement the scheme.
It must be noted that the government has begin 71 Residential Schools for Minorities from this year while it has set the target to establish 120 schools. The amount has been released as the 2nd instalment of the 350 Cr budget sanctioned for the first phase schools.
