Hyderabad: Telangana government has released 87 Crore 50 lakh for Minority Residential schools. Secretary Minority Welfare, Syed Omer Jaleel issued GO RT 29 in this connection. As per the GO, 350 Cr were allocated for Minority Residential Schools for the financial year 2016-17. 175 Cr were released in the first phase and now further 87.50 Cr were released. Equivalent amount will be released before the end of financial year. Director Minority Welfare has been authorised to release the amount for the schemes.
