Telangana government has released a budget of Rs. 87,28,36,000. With this the release of budget for the current financial year 2015-16 has virtually begun. The amount has been released as the 1st quarterly instalment of the year. Government has allocated Rs. 1105 Cr. for Minority Welfare of which Rs. 87 cr has been released after nearly one month.
Special Secretary Finance Department K Ram Krishna Rao released this budget through two separate GOs. 70 lakh have been released for admission of minority students into standard schools, 2.50 cr have been released for Urdu Ghar and function halls, 50 lakhs have been released as grant in aid for Daeratul Ma’arif, 2.5 cr have been released for schemes of Telangana Christian Minorities Finance Corporation, 50 lakh as grant in aid for Telangana Hajj Committee and soon.
