Karimnagar: Bandi Sanjay Kumar, BJP MP of Karimnagar told that 85% of the Muslim voters contributed to his success in Parliamentary election.
Addressing a gathering which was organized on the occasion of Sankalp Yatra to mark the 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, Mr. Sanjay told this.
The yatra entered Mohammedpur village of Husnabad Mandal.
It may be mentioned that BJP had started a Sankalp yatra on 2nd October this year from Karimnagar. It will enter Huzurabad Taluqua on 4th November after covering all the mandals.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar told that there is a need to popularize the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. He stressed that Mahatma Gandhi was a leader who believed in peace and non-violence. In order to maintain peace and integrity in the country, the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi should be followed, he said.
Pointing at the burqa-clad Muslim women, Mr. Kumar said that there is a need for national integration.
He vehemently condemned those who hold the opinion that BJP is a communal party.
He claimed that in BJP led states, the Muslims are happy and prosperous. He fervently claimed that 85% of Muslims contributed to his success. He announced that he would work for the welfare of all the communities.
