New Delhi, August 05: An eight-year-old girl wasallegedly raped by her neighbour on the terrace of a buildingat Jahangirpuri and the family and locals staged a protesttoday in front of a police station and manhandled a policeofficer.
The girl, a class III student of Sri Guru Nanak School,was raped allegedly by her neighbour Atul after drugging herthree days ago. He is absconding, police said.
The girl after coming from school had gone to theterrace where Atul offered her some sweets laced withsedatives. He then took her to the terrace of another buildingand allegedly raped her.
As the accused was absconding family and locals blockedGT Karnal road demanding his immediate arrest.
They also ransacked the house of the accused besidesstaging protests in front of Jahangirpuri police station wherethe station house officer was manhandled allegedly by theprotesters.
