On Tuesday, as many as eight employees from Wipro escaped with minor injuries as the Tata Winger they were travelling in, turned turtle near Banjara Hills Road No.12.
According to Police officials, the vehicle’s tyres had exploded and it hit the footpath before it overturned. The travellers did not suffer any serious injuries as the vehicle was moving slowly.
The employees were on their way towards Banjara Hills when the incident occurred. A motorist, who was behind the vehicle was also injured.
Locals came to the spot and helped the passengers, who were later given first aid treatment at the nearest hospital. The police had started a investigation into the incident.
