Kuala Lumpur, April 04: A 7.1 earthquake hit Indonesia’s Java Island on Monday, no human or property losses reported yet.
According to the Indonesian national weather forecast center, the quake occurred 293 kilometers northwest the capital Jakarta at a depth of 10 kilometers, adding that the quake did not result in a Tsunami.
Indonesia, a nation of 17,000 Islands, frequently faces such quakes due to its delicate geographical location in the Pacific Ocean.
